Art In The Yard has become Art In The Studio! Ink Run Press (387 1st Ave) will host a series of summer art classes for kids of all ages. Classes will be taught by Shannon Petty, Sarah McGough, Jean Richardson and Rachel Jeppson Alley.
Each class will be offered for different age groups at the following times Monday and Wednesday each week:
10:00 – 11:30 AM Ages 4-12
12:30 – 2:00 PM Ages 4-12
2:30 – 4:00 PM Ages 12 and up

Fabric Collages $25 (10 AM and 12:30 PM Class)
Using shapes and patterns create Monsters and Wild Things out of fabric.
Bookbinding $30 (2:30-4:00 PM class only)
Learn bookbinding techniques- plan, prepare and sew a book.

Mosiacs $30
Learn about mosaic techniques, plan, piece, and complete design together using shapes and making patterns.
July 9,11 M/W
Paper Mache $25
Learn about paper mache techniques. Make a paper mache friend/creation to take home.
July 16,18 M/W
Weaving $25
A creative exposure to basic weaving, using old t-shirts and hula hoops.
July 30, August 1 M/W
Printmaking $30
Learn different printmaking techniques with a variety of fun mediums.
August 8,9 W/TH
Papermaking $25
Time to recycle! Make your own unique recycled paper and then use it to make a book.
August 13,15 M/W
Self- Portraits $25
Create your own self-portrait while learning about perspective and perception in drawing.
*The classes will be divided according to age level. Classes are subject to change according to class size and demand.
